Your room at a glance
Green band = your chosen route. Beige areas = space you want to keep clear. Numbered pieces match the furniture list.
1. Define the room
Use your own clearance needs. The example’s 90 cm band is a trial dimension, not a building or accessibility standard.
2. Place the pieces
Positions measure from the room’s top-left corner to the item’s top-left corner. Use the complete furniture frame size.
The furniture schedule
Use this list with the diagram when measuring, comparing pieces, or planning a move.
Read the plan in three passes
- Check the boxes. Red warnings identify furniture overlaps, pieces outside the room, or furniture in your reserved route.
- Allow for movement. Add keep-clear rectangles for doors, drawers, recliners, and the chair when someone stands up. A rectangle is a conservative approximation of a curved swing.
- Try it at home. Tape out the arrangement and walk through it with the people who use the room. Check windows, radiators, outlets, delivery routes, and manufacturer clearances separately.
The editor models a rectangular room and axis-aligned furniture. It does not assess structure, installation, fire escape, turning space, or personal accessibility. A clear drawing alone does not confirm a suitable layout.
